WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative and infallible Word of God and the only perfect rule of faith, doctrine and conduct. WE BELIEVE that there is One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. WE BELIEVE that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit lives within all believers. WE BELIEVE that the local church is a body of believers brought together by the Holy Spirit as a visible part of the body of Christ and His church universal. WE BELIEVE that those who are saved by God's grace will be eternal with God in His glory; those who have rejected the gift of salvation by God's grace shall be eternally separated from God.

Our own Steve Siegel, along with his son and several amazing young softball players won the State Championship only a few days ago. DeBary WVAC 14U Girls softball Team was undefeated and won their division to become this year's Florida State Babe Ruth 14U Softball Tournament CHAMPIONS. They battled 4 other 14U teams and temperature in the 100s. They are coached by Chris Siegel, Lauren Hall, Sam Copeland, and Steve Siegel. On a side note, the 16U and 12U girls finished 1st in their divisions while the 10U team finished 2nd. A GREAT weekend for DeBary Softball. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!

This Sunday we celebrate the arrival of our new director of music, Sharon Hibbs. Sharon is an accomplished musician and a dear friend of several people in our congregation. There will be a reception welcoming Sharon immediately following worship which will include an ice cream social. Please plan on staying if you can for this wonderful time of welcoming, fellowship, and friendship.
Adult Sunday School class members: We won't be starting in the new book, doing lesson 1, this Sunday, June 16. Instead, we'll be doing Charles Stanley's Bible study: Overcoming Fear and Insecurity. In this Bible study about Gideon's life, we'll learn how to achieve victory over fear and insecurity. Please read Judges, chapters 6, 7, 8 this week. The materials we'll use for this study will be handed out on Sunday in class. See you then. Also, due to class leaders' schedules, Adult Sunday school will NOT meet June 23 through July 14. We'll resume class on July 21.
Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Jewish festival called the Feast of Weeks or the Feast of the Harvest. May the Holy Spirit also be experienced by each of us in a most powerful way by “special delivery” during our worship on Sunday at 10:30 am
Thanks to all of you who have or still are participating in the Grace House Pregnancy Resource Center, Inc. Baby Bottle coin donations. There are still bottles being filled with coins, but so far you have donated $186.30 to Grace House Pregnancy Resource Center of DeLand.
Christ United Fellowship is participating in helping Called Out Inc. Their goal and vision is to raise local awareness of how very deep the problem of human trafficking is and to provide a local safe house to restore and rehabilitate young victims. By donating gently worn, used, and new shoes to the Called Out Inc., the shoes will be given a second chance and make a difference in people’s lives around the world. Please bring any gently worn or new shoes to the church library.
Let us pause for a moment and thank God for those who sacrificed their lives on our behalf. May we never forget the truth that for every one of us, "All gave something – some gave all." Christ United Fellowship has been invited to participate in a post-Easter celebration on Sunday, April 28th from 3-4 pm at Earl Brown Park. No preparation is required. Just attend for celebration and prayer. Hope to see you there!
Join us for worship and a time of fellowship on Sunday mornings. Adult Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM, followed by Sunday Worship at 10:30 AM.
